In this issue of Medical Review, we are pleased to present a diverse collection of editorials, original studies, review articles, and case reports, while also taking the opportunity to reflect on the valuable contributions published in the previous issue. The previous issue opens with an editorial by Fogt, who critically examines the phenomenon of diagnostic agreement within medical institutions. The author argues that apparent concordance among clinicians may sometimes reflect shared institutional interpretive culture rather than true diagnostic accuracy. By highlighting the roles of cognitive bias, group dynamics, and training environments, the article emphasizes the importance of cross-institutional collaboration and diversified diagnostic perspectives in order to improve diagnostic reliability in modern medicine. In the second editorial, Mobasheri provides a concise update on the potential of cell and gene therapy for osteoarthritis, focusing on the therapeutic concept of TissueGene-C. The article discusses how engineered cells capable of expressing transforming growth factor-β1 may modulate synovial inflammation, promote cartilage repair, and alleviate pain through macrophage polarization and neurobiological mechanisms.
